Summary

Job Title: Technology Lead – DevOps / DevOps Architecture Consultant

Location-Remote

Job Summary:

Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure. Drive automation, CI/CD adoption, and scalable architecture solutions while guiding teams and consulting with stakeholders on best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement DevOps architecture and best practices
Lead CI/CD pipeline setup and optimization
Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security
Mentor and guide junior engineers and DevOps teams
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams
Define and enforce monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies
Drive DevOps transformation initiatives for clients/projects
Provide technical consultancy and solution design

Required Skills:

Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Experience with containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
Understanding of networking, security, and system architecture

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
6–10+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering

Preferred (Optional):

Certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes, etc.)
Experience in consulting or client-facing roles
Exposure to microservices architecture

Leadership Expectations:

Ability to lead technical discussions and decision-making
Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
Experience managing teams or leading projects
