Project Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce development and a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform. As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
This position will report to the Senior Director of IT and will be responsible for designing, coding, implementing, maintaining, and evolving applications, Salesforce solutions and integrations. This includes working with business stakeholders, product managers and developers to deliver robust scalable solutions with competing priorities in a collaborative Agile environment.
Essential Functions
- Serves as primary developer for the Salesforce.com environment for technical solution delivery, design, development, configuration, system integration, system architecture, data quality, governance, system and security audits (CPRA/CCPA, SOX, etc.), technical documentation, training, system support and upgrade. (35%)
- Deliver high quality technical solutions that empower the teams to utilize the Salesforce systems including Sales Cloud, CPQ, Field Service, Service Cloud, Knowledge, Experience Cloud and Omni Studio. This includes requirements refining, analysis, business process modeling, and workflow development. (35%)
- Assist in translating business requirements and participate in story planning, standups, retrospectives, and system architecture review meetings. (10%)
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best practices. (10%)
- Provide user training or demo for Salesforce users to increase user adoption. (5%)
- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and support. (5%).
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends.
- Works closely with the developer team to ensure that projects are delivered correctly and on time.
- Perform Impact analysis in all aspects of the Salesforce domain
- Contribute to successful Design and Delivery of Salesforce related implementations
- Create Technical Design, system architecture, operation readiness documents, and gain approval from the Architecture Review Board.
- Demonstrate experience with writing SQL queries and ad hoc reporting.
- Experience with Lightning, Apex, VisualForce, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, SOAP/REST web services, and Javascript
- Strong understanding of data structures and data modeling
- Able to troubleshoot with debugging skills
- Knowledge of Salesforce API s on how to integrate with 3rd party tools and limitations.
- Understanding of Release Management process and CI/CD pipeline (i.e. Github, Copado, etc.)
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Strong quantitative and conceptual abilities
- Ability to perform multiple assignments under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational abilities to effectively communicate with people at all levels
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills
Education, Competencies, Certifications/Licenses
- High School degree or experience in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of hands on Salesforce experience (i.e. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, Marketing Cloud, CPQ, Experience Cloud, Omni Studio. Apex, Visualforce, Lighting Components)
- Required: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II Certification
Additional Qualifications:
- Preferred: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, and Omni Studio Certifications.
Day to Day:
Service Cloud Implemented along with Experience Cloud and expanding now to Field service and new project (Data Cloud)- regeneration (to support road service projects)
Top Requirements for Salesforce Developer
- 4-5 years of hands-on Salesforce experience (i.e. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, , Experience Cloud, Omni Studio. Apex, Visualforce, Lighting Components)
- They will partner with Current Senior Developers.
- Data Cloud experience is nice to have but not required.
This team highly values SFDC Certifications Must have.
