Summary

Python Consultant - Allvue
The role will be part of a global team responsible for enhancing and supporting a real-time trade capture system that processes, normalizes, and enriches the firm's executions across multiple asset classes, and feeds the executions to various internal systems, including real-time P&L and risk systems. The consultant will focus on delivering high-quality technical solutions, with a particular emphasis on Python-based services, Kafka-based streaming, and integrations with third-party platforms such as WSO and Allvue for the firm's credit business.

Qualifications/Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Python
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with Kafka (designing, building, and supporting streaming/real-time data pipelines)
• Experience with the WSO product and its implementation
• Experience integrating WSO with Allvue (design, implementation, and troubleshooting of end-to-end data flows)
• Functional exposure to the credit business (e.g., leveraged loans, CLOs, syndicated loans, or related credit products) is highly desirable
• Expertise in multithreading, object-oriented design, design patterns, and unit/integration testing
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools and practices
• Familiarity with another programming language (e.g., Java) is a plus
• Knowledge of MongoDB or an equivalent NoSQL database
• Familiar with modern IDE and developer productivity tools (e.g., Claude, Conduit, etc.)
• Proven ability to quickly analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production and integration issues
• Highly detail-oriented; demonstrates thoroughness, accountability, and strong ownership of deliverables
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed global team
• Able to prioritize and execute in a fast-moving, high-pressure, and constantly changing environment; strong sense of urgency and delivery focus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including clear status reporting to stakeholders
• Quick learner with the ability to rapidly understand existing systems and processes

Pay Rate: Upto $800/day W2
