Sesheng LLC is seeking a highly skilled Shop Floor Systems Lead to join the team in Goshen, IN. This is a critical, long-term leadership role designed for a professional who thrives at the intersection of manufacturing operations and advanced IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between physical production and digital systems, overseeing network configurations, cloud migrations, and the development of custom shop-floor applications. This position requires a boots-on-the-ground leader who can manage complex technical projects while ensuring seamless connectivity and operational efficiency on the manufacturing floor.

Key Responsibilities

·         Infrastructure Leadership: Lead the strategy and execution of shop-floor network configurations and hardware integration to ensure 24/7 operational uptime.

·         Cloud Transformation: Manage the end-to-end migration of legacy on-site systems to cloud-based environments, ensuring data integrity and minimal production downtime.

·         Application Development: Oversee the creation and implementation of custom Make applications and digital tools tailored to optimize manufacturing workflows.

·         Project Management: Act as the primary PM for all facility-wide IT initiatives, coordinating between engineering, operations, and external vendors.

·         Network Optimization: Troubleshoot and refine network settings, protocols, and security measures specific to industrial IoT (IIoT) and shop-floor environments.

·         Operational Readiness: Serve as the onsite technical subject matter expert, providing immediate support and strategic planning for facility expansions or system upgrades.

Qualifications & Skills

·         Manufacturing Expertise: Deep understanding of shop-floor dynamics and the unique requirements of industrial networking.

·         Technical Proficiency: Strong background in network configuration, hardware troubleshooting, and systems architecture.

·         Cloud & Apps: Proven experience in cloud migration strategies and developing internal applications to streamline production data.

·         Project Leadership: Advanced Project Management (PM) skills with a track record of delivering multi-phase technical projects on time.

·         Onsite Commitment: Ability to work full-time at the Goshen, IN facility to provide direct leadership and support.
