Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Westlake, Ohio. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys building reliable applications, creating integrations, and contributing to modern web solutions in a service-focused environment. You will work across backend and frontend technologies, partner with cross-functional teams, and help deliver scalable software that supports business needs.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain software applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem with a strong focus on clean, object-oriented development practices.
Create and support web services, console applications, and web-based solutions that meet functional and performance expectations.
Develop responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular, with attention to usability across devices.
Build and maintain custom system integrations by working with SDKs, APIs, and web services to connect business platforms effectively.
Write and optimize SQL queries, including joins and aggregations, to support application functionality and data analysis needs.
Use Azure DevOps and version control processes to manage source code, track changes, and support collaborative development.
Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and deliver practical solutions that improve system stability and performance.
Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate progress, and deliver business-focused solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in web development, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
At least 3 years of software engineering experience working with C# and .NET technologies.
Proven background in developing applications with .NET and ASP.NET, including web services and console-based solutions.
Experience building modern front-end applications with JavaScript and frameworks such as React or Angular.
Working knowledge of SQL Server 2012 or later, including writing queries with joins, aggregations, and performance awareness.
Experience using Azure DevOps or a similar version control and development collaboration platform.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to learn new technologies quickly and collaborate across teams.
