RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client that is seeking a Project/Program Manager in Seattle, WA.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to support a time-bound initiative focused on developing and finalizing performance testing protocols. This contractor will work directly with third-party laboratories to create, review, and refine testing protocols that meet defined quality standards. The engagement is execution-heavy, highly structured, and must be completed within a 3-month timeframe.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary point of contact with external testing laboratories
* Partner with labs to develop new performance testing protocols
* Review and assess lab-provided protocols for accuracy, completeness, and alignment to requirements
* Edit and standardize protocols as needed to ensure consistency and usability
* Track progress and manage delivery across ~250 testing protocols
* Maintain clear documentation and provide regular status updates
* Identify risks, gaps, and delays and proactively drive resolution
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience in quality, testing, or compliance within consumer products, CPG, or a related industry
* Familiarity with laboratory testing environments and performance testing methodologies
* Strong documentation review and technical writing skills
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Strong analytical skills to identify gaps between customer experiences and testing coverage
* Proven ability to manage high-volume deliverables under tight timelines
* Ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple external partners
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with third-party labs or certification bodies
* Experience supporting global or multi-region programs
* Exposure to private label or retailer-owned brands
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
