Internal Auditor II

ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Internal Auditor II with a technology company. This is a 5+ month contract opportunity with our client located in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Lead high-frequency audits across Transportation Risk and Compliance that include conducting end-to-end Wage and Benefit and Working Hours compliance audits for the Last Mile transportation network
• Perform independent and objective assessments of business activities and related controls to improve operations, compliance, and risk management
• Leverage large data sets to support audits and provide valuable insights to the business
• Provide consultative support to business partners to identify opportunities for improvements with the objective of mitigating risk and improving compliance and operational performance
• Understand complex business processes and identify the full range of risks related to processes, compliance, organizations, and technology
• Prepare reports and make presentations to senior level management

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 3+ years of experience with operation auditing, risk management, compliance, or financial analysis

Desired skills:

• Risk management experience, including performing assessments and audits, managing enterprise control frameworks, and prioritizing risk
• Willingness to dive deep into audits combined with experience collaborating on a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A fast learner who can quickly absorb the nuances and behaviors of complex systems architecture
• Solid analytical skills and a history of analyzing data and situations to identify meaningful observations
• Experience with process improvement, Kaizen, and Six Sigma
• Experience with multiple compliance standards, such as: SOC 1/2/3, ISO 27001/27017/27018, FedRAMP, COBIT, and/or ITIL

Pay range: Up to $70.62 per Hour
