GIS Analyst

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Core GIS & Spatial Analysis (4+ Years)

• Experience in GIS, cartography, CADD, or a related field.

• Expertise in developing user interfaces, menus, and macro-level commands.

• Proven ability to perform complex spatial analyses and produce reports according to project specifications.

• Hands-on experience developing GIS systems to create, maintain, or leverage geospatial basemap information, specifically:

  • Creating Basemaps and Tile Caches

  • Conducting imagery analysis

• Strong proficiency in ArcGIS Online (AGOL), Portal, Experience Builder, and Dashboards.

Database Management (4+ Years)

• Advanced skills in SQL, including writing database scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and SSIS packages.

• Experience maintaining spatial databases, validating data, documenting procedures, and managing metadata for new and existing items.

Quality Assurance & Testing (4+ Years)

• Advanced skills in unit testing, system testing, regression testing, and automated testing to ensure product quality aligns with strict performance and project standards.

Software Development & Web Technologies (2+ Years)

• Experience programming and developing with C#.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, XML, AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Transact SQL (T-SQL).

• Experience building solutions within Microsoft Power Apps.

• Practical knowledge and application of ADA Compliance standards (1+ years).

Education

• Bachelor's degree required (foreign degrees will be accepted if evaluated as equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree).
