Job Summary
We are seeking a UI/UX Designer/Developer to design and build intuitive, accessible, and scalable digital experiences used by millions of customers and employees. In this role, you will bridge design and development, transforming research and interaction designs into high-quality, production-ready user interfaces across native iOS, Android, and enterprise mobile platforms.
You will collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to modernize mission-critical systems while meeting the reliability, security, and accessibility standards expected of a large utilities organization.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and develop responsive, user-centered interfaces for web and internal enterprise applications
· Translate UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes into clean, maintainable front-end code
· Partner with UX researchers and product teams to validate designs through usability testing and data-driven insights
· Contribute to and maintain a scalable design system and UI component library
· Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+) and industry best practices
· Optimize performance, usability, and auto layout, constraints, and native responsive design compatibility
· Collaborate closely with backend developers and architects to integrate APIs and services
· Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and cross-functional workshops
· Support continuous improvement of digital experiences for customers, field teams, and internal users
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience
· 13+ years of experience in UI/UX development or front-end engineering
· Strong proficiency in Swift/SwiftUI (iOS) and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose (Android), and other modern frameworks (React, Angular, or similar)
· Experience translating design artifacts into production-ready interfaces
· Solid understanding of usability principles, interaction design, and accessibility
· Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
· Design Standards: Knowledge of Apple’s HIG and Google’s Material Design 3
· Figma Tooling: Use of official Apple/Google UI Kits to ensure designs match native SwiftUI/Compose components
· Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working in regulated or large-scale enterprise environments (utilities, energy, transportation,
government, finance)
· Knowledge of design systems and component-driven development
· Experience with accessibility testing tools and standards compliance
· Familiarity with analytics, A/B testing, or user feedback platforms
· Understanding of secure application development practices
