Job Title: MongoDB / NoSQL Database Consultant (Big Data & Casandra)
Work Location– New York City (hybrid – 4 days onsite & one day Remote)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled MongoDB / NoSQL Database Consultant with strong expertise in Big Data technologies to design, implement, optimize, and manage scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MongoDB and modern big data ecosystems such as Casandra, Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable NoSQL database architectures using MongoDB.
• Perform data modeling for high-performance and high-availability systems.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, sharding, and replication strategies.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
• Integrate MongoDB with Big Data platforms such as:
o Apache Hadoop
o Apache Spark
o Apache Kafka
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Support real-time and batch data processing systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production database issues.
• Provide consulting support for migration from RDBMS (e.g., Oracle Database, MySQL) to NoSQL environments.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and DevOps teams.
