Description
We are looking for a skilled PC Technician to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this long-term contract position, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, installation, and maintenance of computer systems and associated hardware. The role requires expertise in working with various devices and software platforms, providing exceptional technical support, and maintaining system efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software to ensure optimal system performance.
Provide timely support for Apple and Dell devices, addressing hardware and software issues.
Perform cable installations and ensure proper connectivity across systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to associated hardware and computer systems.
Monitor and maintain proprietary system operations, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
Utilize metrology tools to verify system accuracy and performance.
Manage data using Microsoft SQL and create advanced Excel formulas for reporting purposes.
Conduct regular updates and ensure compatibility of software across devices.
Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for complex technical challenges.
Document system changes and maintain detailed records of installations and repairs.
Requirements
Proven experience in computer hardware installation and maintenance.
Familiarity with Apple and Dell technologies, including device support.
Knowledge of cable installation processes and best practices.
Proficiency in using metrology tools to ensure system accuracy.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formula creation.
Experience with Microsoft SQL for database management and troubleshooting.
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
