Job Description
We are seeking a Senior SAP WM Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, and Handling Unit Management and a proven ability to lead full lifecycle implementations, enable efficient warehouse operations, and drive successful global rollouts.
Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP WM/IM/HU design, configuration, testing, and deployment across manufacturing plants.
- Own end-to-end warehouse processes including inbound, outbound, and internal movements.
- Facilitate workshops, drive fit-gap analysis, and steward global template adherence.
- Plan and execute cutover, data migration, and hypercare for rollouts.
- Integrate with MM, PP, SD, QM, EWM, and third-party logistics solutions including IDocs and EDI.
- Enable RF/barcode, mobile warehouse, RFID, and warehouse automation solutions.
- Support LE-TRA and logistics execution for putaway, picking, packing, and replenishment.
- Drive quality through unit, integration, and UAT testing and resolve defects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of SAP ERP experience with 5+ years as a Senior or Lead Consultant.
- Expertise in SAP WM, IM, and HU Management, including LE-TRA and RF/barcode scanning.
- Hands-on in inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.
- Proficiency in putaway, picking, packing, replenishment, and HU creation, packing, unpacking, and tracking.
- Experience with physical inventory, stock reconciliation, goods receipt, goods issue, and stock transport orders.
- Minimum 3 full lifecycle SAP implementations or rollouts.
- Automotive manufacturing experience with at least 2 years and 2 full lifecycle automotive projects.
- Experience with global template deployments and manufacturing plant rollouts.
- Strong rollout, testing, cutover, data migration, hypercare, and workshop facilitation experience.
- Integration knowledge across MM, PP, SD, QM, EWM, IDocs, EDI, and third-party logistics solutions.
- Experience with RF scanning, mobile warehouse solutions, RFID, and warehouse automation.
- Experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- Eligibility to work in the US for the next 2 years and willingness to travel 40-50% across rollout locations.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to EWM decentralized or embedded scenarios supporting WM transitions.
- Experience in Agile delivery with JIRA or similar tools for requirement and defect management.
