Job DetailsKey Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead the design engineering and PE teams to ensure strong performance and productivity
- Develop and implement design strategies, processes, and engineering best practices
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project execution
- Drive innovation around manufacturability and improve engineering drawings and bills of material
- Resolve technical issues and provide leadership on complex design challenges
- Prepare and present design proposals and project updates to management
- Collaborate with internal and external manufacturing and supply teams
- Support continuous improvement across the design and engineering function
You should have most of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in engineering design
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a managerial or team leadership role
- Strong experience in manufacturing design environments
- Experience improving drawings, bills of material, and design for manufacturability
- Proficiency with CAD software
- Strong background using AutoCAD and Inventor
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations
- Proven ability to lead teams, solve technical design issues, and manage multiple engineering priorities
