Position: SAP SD Business Analyst
Duration: 9 Months with possible extension
Location: Dallas TX (5 Days Onsite)
We are looking for a senior SAP SD professional who can confidently lead discussions and drive initiatives within the Quote-to-Cash (QTC) / Sales & Distribution space. The ideal candidate should be capable of engaging stakeholders and providing leadership across both business and technical conversations. The role is open to candidates in Houston or Dallas, with a preference for those based in Dallas.
SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) business Analyst Consultant
We are seeking an SAP SD Technical Business Analyst with a strong mix of functional expertise, technical depth, and excellent communication skills. This role requires someone who can bridge business needs with system capabilities, drive solution design, and support end-to-end delivery across the Order-to-Cash (OTC) lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
Lead workshops, gather and document business requirements, and perform gap analysis for SAP SD processes.
Design and configure SAP SD solutions across pricing, order management, billing, shipping, and credit management.
Collaborate with ABAP and integration teams on enhancements (user exits, BADIs), interfaces (IDocs, APIs), and custom developments.
Analyze complex business scenarios and propose scalable, efficient system solutions aligned with best practices.
Support testing cycles (SIT/UAT), defect resolution, and deployment activities.
Provide data analysis, process insights, and recommendations to improve OTC performance and reporting.
Prepare executive-level documentation, process flows, and status updates
Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years of SAP SD experience with strong business analysis capabilities.
Proven experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
Deep knowledge of OTC processes and integration with FICO and MM.
Solid technical understanding of SAP (debugging, enhancements, data structures, integrations).
Strong communication and presentation skills with experience interacting with business and IT leadership.
Experience with S/4HANA preferred.
