Technical Team Lead – SAP FS-CD
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Technical Team Lead to lead technical delivery, architecture, and cross-functional collaboration for SAP FS-CD initiatives within the insurance or healthcare industry.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience delivering SAP FS-CD projects end to end, combined with deep expertise in solution architecture, technical decision-making, and stakeholder leadership. This role will serve as a key bridge between business and technology teams, translating business priorities into effective technical strategies and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for SAP FS-CD projects and initiatives from architecture and design through implementation and delivery.
- Own and drive technical architecture and solution design, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Make and communicate key technical decisions, balancing business requirements, technical considerations, risks, and long-term sustainability.
- Coordinate technical priorities and delivery activities with product, business, and technology stakeholders.
- Provide thought leadership to both business and technology teams, helping shape technology strategy and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead technical discussions and facilitate alignment across engineering, architecture, product, and business stakeholders.
- Guide engineering teams through complex technical challenges and support effective implementation of architectural decisions.
- Establish and promote engineering and technical best practices across projects.
- Mentor and provide guidance to technical team members, fostering strong engineering capabilities and continuous improvement.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges and work proactively with stakeholders to address them.
- Ensure SAP FS-CD solutions and implementations align with enterprise architecture, business processes, and industry requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Senior-level technical leadership experience in SAP FS-CD.
- Strong experience delivering SAP FS-CD projects in the insurance or healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated experience with end-to-end SAP FS-CD implementation and delivery.
- Strong experience in SAP FS-CD architecture and solution design.
- Proven ability to make and lead complex technical and architectural decisions.
- Experience coordinating technical priorities with product, business, and technology teams.
- Strong ability to provide technical thought leadership to both business and technology stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and guide technical teams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience working on large-scale SAP FS-CD transformations or modernization initiatives.
- 10+ years of experience integrating SAP FS-CD with other enterprise applications and platforms.
- Experience working in complex, regulated insurance or healthcare environments.
- Experience establishing technical standards, architecture governance, and engineering best practices.
