Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to support the development and integration of secure, scalable applications for enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, AWS cloud services, and microservices architecture, along with experience in system integration and modern DevOps practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and RESTful APIs.

  • Build scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

  • Integrate systems with enterprise services using JSON/XML, REST, and SOAP APIs.

  • Develop and deploy applications in AWS environments (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, SQS/SNS).

  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, and Nexus.

  • Work with Oracle/PostgreSQL databases, writing PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and views.

  • Support containerized deployments and collaborate with DevSecOps teams.

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews.

  • Provide troubleshooting support and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5–8 years of software development experience.

  • 3+ years of Java development experience with Spring / Spring Boot.

  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.

  • Experience integrating with external systems using JSON/XML.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, Nexus).

  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with DevOps and automated testing.

  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture.

  • Experience in troubleshooting cloud-based distributed systems.

  • Familiarity with Federal security frameworks (FISMA, NIST 800-53).

Ability to obtain Government Public Trust Clearance.
