Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Lead / Solution Architect to lead a large-scale ECC to S/4HANA brownfield transformation within the utilities and energy domain. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise across the end-to-end Meter-to-Cash (M2C) process landscape and provide strategic leadership for architecture, integration, delivery, and business transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture and design for SAP IS-U and S/4HANA transformation programs.
- Drive end-to-end Meter-to-Cash (M2C) processes including Customer Service, Device Management, Billing, FI-CA, and Market Transactions.
- Collaborate with business, technical, integration, and operational teams to align solution strategy and delivery execution.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional workstreams across design, development, testing, deployment, cutover, and hypercare stabilization.
- Oversee system integration between SAP IS-U, SAP CRM, and external utility market systems.
- Support data migration, interface design, QA validation, and release management activities.
- Provide leadership in resolving complex architectural and integration challenges.
- Ensure compliance with utility industry regulations and operational standards.
- Strong experience in SAP IS-U implementations and S/4HANA transformation projects.
- Deep expertise in Meter-to-Cash (M2C) business processes.
- Hands-on experience with IS-U modules including Billing, Device Management, FI-CA, Customer Service, and Market Transactions.
- Experience integrating SAP IS-U with SAP CRM and external systems.
- Strong understanding of data migration, testing strategies, deployment, and cutover planning.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage complex enterprise-scale utility transformation programs.
- Experience with Ontario energy market processes and regulations.
- Knowledge of smart metering, MDM/R, IESO settlements, EBT, and utility compliance standards.
- Prior experience leading brownfield ECC to S/4HANA migration initiatives in utilities or energy organizations.
