This role is targeting an immediate start date. Responsibilities- Designs, develops, and maintains the Purview playground service to provide an isolated and secure sandbox environment for enterprise customers.
- Implements advanced security measures and adhere to world-class security standards to protect customer data and ensure compliance.
- Enables seamless experimentation with advanced LLM-powered Purview skills within the sandbox environment and enable ease of deployment to enterprise customer environments.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- OR equivalent experience.
Other RequirementsAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years
Preferred Qualifications:- Proven experience in designing, building, and operating scalable, highly available cloud services or distributed systems on platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or comparable cloud environments, with production ownership and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Proven experience applying distributed systems concepts such as concurrency, conflict resolution, and consensus algorithms to build resilient and maintainable back-end architectures.
- Proven experience programming in modern back-end languages such as C#, Java, Go, or Python.
- Proven experience developing single-page web applications (SPAs) using JavaScript, TypeScript, or comparable programming languages.

Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,200 - $165,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $109,000 - $180,400 per year.
