Job Description:

This resource will lead the technical discovery and assessment of existing SQL Server environments. Responsibilities include performing a comprehensive inventory of SQL Server assets including databases, SSIS packages, SSRS reports, SQL Agent jobs, stored procedures, views, and functions. The contractor will conduct dependency mapping and evaluate database artifacts to understand their functional roles and business value.

The contractor will analyze SSIS workloads to identify patterns, dependencies, and complexity, and classify workloads into categories suitable for modernization, migration, or retirement. The contractor will also review SSRS reporting assets and provide recommendations for modernization or migration.

Using AI-assisted accelerator tools, the contractor will document findings and produce a technical assessment that includes dependency analysis, modernization candidates, and technical risks. Deliverables will support the overall migration strategy and modernization roadmap.
