Summary
Location: Richmond, Virginia 23219
Duration: Long Term
Sr level IT Procurement experience.
Superior written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all types of stakeholders.
Experience executing request for proposals (RFPs).
Demonstrated Knowledge of contract development.
Ability to analyze and negotiate complex high value contracts.
Ability to interpret procurement law and policies.
Ability to use existing templates and work instructions to complete tasks.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work with all levels of staff and the general public.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, information systems, compliance, legal, or related field preferred (or commiserate experience).
Ability to work with Enterprise Sourcing peers to collectively problem solve and brainstorm solutions that can be uniformly applied.
State or local VA state agency procurement exp will be beneficial. Professional references a big plus if your candidate has prior VA state agency exp.
