Java Full Stack Developer (only on W2)

Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer (Spring Boot, AWS, Terraform)

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)

Job Description:

Client is seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join its application development team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, AWS Cloud, and Terraform. This role requires hands-on development experience across both backend and frontend technologies while collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams.

Required Skills
9+ years of experience in Java application development.
Strong hands-on experience with Java.
Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Microservices architecture.
Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
Strong experience with AWS Cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKSRDS, CloudWatch, IAM, API Gateway
Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Experience with frontend technologies such as:
Angular (preferred) or React
JavaScript
HTML5
CSS3
Strong SQL experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
Familiarity with Kubernetes/OpenShift is a plus.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications.
Develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and consume RESTful APIs.
Develop responsive frontend components using Angular or React.
Deploy and maintain applications on AWS Cloud.
Create and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and production support.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and DevOps teams.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Follow security, coding, and banking compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications

Banking or Financial Services experience is highly preferred.
Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies.
Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security.
AWS Certification is a plus.
Terraform or DevOps certification is a plus.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
