Summary

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Budget Analyst Level 2 to support financial operations and budgeting activities at the plant/site level. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting, forecasting, and reporting experience and will be responsible for preparing financial and operating budget reports, ensuring compliance, and supporting day-to-day accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain site-level financial and operating budget reports
  • Assist with daily accounting activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate consolidation and reporting of all project and site entities
  • Support forecasting and financial planning for plant operations
  • Ensure compliance with SOX and internal accounting controls
  • Prepare quarterly tax provisions and ensure timely financial reporting
  • Administer and interpret accounting policies applicable to the site
  • Create high-level financial reports for management review
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support financial decision-making

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting (required)
  • 5+ years of experience in financial operations, budgeting, or accounting
  • Strong experience in financial consolidation, forecasting, and reporting
  • Working knowledge of accounting policies and compliance standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or Master s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience working in plant, utility, or industrial environments

Technical Skills

  • Experience with SAP, FMIP, or Passport financial systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting processes
