Job Description

We are seeking an AI-First Engineer with deep Oracle SCM expertise and a proven track record of applying AI throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and production support.

The ideal candidate is not simply an Oracle SCM developer who occasionally uses AI tools. We are looking for an engineer who consistently leverages AI technologies to improve developer productivity, code quality, testing efficiency, deployment speed, operational support, and software delivery outcomes.

This role will support AI-powered development and modernization initiatives across Oracle SCM Cloud and/or Oracle EBS applications.

Key Responsibilities

AI-Assisted Requirements & Solution Design

• Use AI/LLM technologies to analyze business requirements, BRDs, user stories, process flows, and SCM functional specifications.

• Generate technical designs, impact assessments, traceability matrices, solution alternatives, and effort estimates using AI-assisted workflows.

• Apply AI to accelerate fit-gap analysis and Oracle Cloud quarterly upgrade impact assessments.

• Use AI-driven knowledge discovery to reduce analysis and design cycle times.

AI-Driven Development & Modernization

• Use GitHub Copilot, Oracle Code Assist, Agentic AI frameworks, and similar tools across PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, Groovy, VBCS, OIC, and APEX.

• Perform AI-assisted code generation, optimization, refactoring, reverse engineering, and legacy modernization.

• Develop Oracle SCM customizations, integrations, extensions, reports, and automation solutions.

• Use AI to automate integration mappings, API creation, report generation, and technical documentation.

AI-Assisted Testing

• Develop AI-powered testing strategies for functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT.

• Use AI for test case generation, test data creation, defect identification, and test maintenance.

• Implement AI-enhanced regression testing for Oracle Cloud quarterly releases.

• Leverage AI for defect triage, root-cause analysis, and predictive quality insights.

AI-Enabled DevOps & Support

• Integrate AI-assisted code reviews, security analysis, static code scanning, and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.

• Generate deployment documentation, release notes, implementation guides, and operational runbooks using AI.

• Apply AI-powered monitoring and analytics for Oracle quarterly release readiness.

• Support AI-driven deployment automation and environment management.

AI / GenAI Experience

Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:

• GitHub Copilot

• Oracle Code Assist

• ChatGPT

• Claude

• Agentic AI Frameworks

• Prompt Engineering

• RAG

• OCI Generative AI

Oracle SCM Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SCM Cloud and/or Oracle EBS.

• Experience with Oracle SCM customizations, integrations, extensions, reports, and automation.

• Strong technical development experience with PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, Groovy, VBCS, OIC, and/or APEX.

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Ability to demonstrate measurable business outcomes from AI adoption
