Job Description

Our client is seeking a contract IT Low-Code / No-Code (LC/NC) Application Developer/Tester (Mendix) to support software development. The Mendix LC/NC Developer will assist in a highly visible and time-critical application development effort, leveraging the Mendix platform to rapidly deliver secure, scalable, and user-centered solutions.

Responsibilities

Assist Business Analysts (BA) with requirements gathering, system design, application development, testing, and implementation using the Mendix platform.
Participate in design sessions and enhance operational systems, business processes, and reports.
Analyze and chart existing business processes to define current-state activities.
Develop and document future-state business processes, including:
- Business rules
- Process flow diagrams
- Inter-department workflows
Configure and develop Mendix applications, including:
- Microflows and nanoflows
- Domain models
- UI components and pages
- Integrations and data sources
Prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases and coordinate with stakeholders.
Perform data validation and quality assurance within Mendix applications.
Assist in pre-go-live testing and resolve issues.
Participate in status calls with clients and project teams.
Create and maintain project documentation.
Keep Scrum Master / Project Manager informed of progress, risks, and actions.
Troubleshoot application issues and assist with defect resolution.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Hands-on experience with Low-Code / No-Code (LC/NC) platforms.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Mendix or OutSystems low-code platforms.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Familiarity with JIRA for backlog management and sprint planning.
Experience working within Scrum teams.
SQL Server querying, reporting, and diagnostics.
Understanding of PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance standards.
Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.
Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to support high-visibility, time-sensitive applications.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Experience with SQL databases.
