In this pivotal, strategically aligned role, you will champion the architecture, governance, and execution of total reward and benefits frameworks across Houston, TX and the broader North American market. Operating in a hybrid model, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, transforming complex market metrics into equitable, high-impact retention and recruitment strategies that support carbon reduction and a cleaner environment.
What You’ll Do
Champion the localized execution of global total reward architectures, ensuring complete harmony with regional economic trends, corporate values, and corporate governance.
Drive the end-to-end administration of the annual compensation lifecycle, overseeing merit allocation, performance-based bonus disbursement, position leveling, and corporate budget forecasting.
Synthesize large-scale labor market intelligence and quantitative benchmarks to provide executive stakeholders with actionable, data-driven compensation modeling.
Architect modern health, welfare, and wellness offerings by analyzing employee utilization, shifting workforce demographics, and cost-benefit ratios.
Maximize compliance and risk mitigation across all organizational pay equity initiatives, auditing internal structures against evolving regional and federal labor regulations.
Govern off-cycle salary adjustments, promotional increases, and specialized retention allowances in accordance with established compensation infrastructure.
Educate people managers and staff through clear, engaging communication strategies that demystify corporate reward philosophies and highlight the value of their total rewards.
Collaborate with international counterparties on cross-border reward initiatives, infusing North American talent priorities into enterprise-wide compensation planning.
What You Bring
Proven Expertise: 5 to 10 years of dedicated experience directing compensation design, benefits administration, or advanced quantitative reward analytics within a large, multi-national corporate ecosystem.
Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Corporate Finance, Human Resources, or an equivalent technical field of study.
Regulatory Acumen: Deep, demonstrable familiarity with U.S. federal labor standards (including FLSA, Equal Pay Act, Title VII, ADA, and FMLA) alongside an understanding of provincial Canadian employment legislation.
Advanced Analytics: Mastery of quantitative assessment techniques, financial cost-modeling, and advanced Excel functions (such as complex formulas, data arrays, and financial lookups).
System Familiarity: Practical experience navigating enterprise-grade Human Capital Management (HCM) software, preferably utilizing platforms like SuccessFactors and SAP.
Strategic Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of advising senior regional leadership and managing highly confidential, sensitive corporate data.

Finding the best employees who possess the needed skills, experience, and education are certainly key in a hire, but to truly find great employees who feel they are an integral part of the company, it takes tremendous insight in understanding what makes someone successful. Passion for one’s work, commitment to excellence, and having a ‘get it done’ attitude are essential for a great employee. Having these qualities also goes a long way in ensuring that an employee always has the client's best interests in mind. Additionally, we believe that having refined and solid communication skills is also paramount in enabling all employees to work together towards the common goals and successes of the company. This collaboration is very much based on our employees' ability to listen to others and respond effectively, both internally with each other, and externally to our clients.
