Build mission-focused software that helps government and commercial users identify and understand emerging biological threats. This Senior Full Stack Engineer role offers end-to-end ownership across frontend, backend, and data systems, with AI coding agents embedded into the development workflow.

Responsibilities
\\n
    \\n
  • Own full-stack features from technical specification and architecture through deployment and production support.
  • \\n
  • Develop across frontend, backend, API, and data layers to deliver reliable, intuitive applications.
  • \\n
  • Use AI coding agents as a core engineering tool, directing implementation while critically reviewing and strengthening generated code.
  • \\n
  • Establish testing, observability, security, and engineering practices that support dependable production software.
  • \\n
  • Build product experiences that incorporate AI/ML capabilities such as RAG, agentic workflows, forecasting, and anomaly detection.
  • \\n
  • Design and integrate data schemas, APIs, dashboards, and ETL workflows that support complex analytical use cases.
  • \\n
  • Partner with product managers, epidemiologists, data scientists, and end users to translate specialized requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • \\n
  • Engage directly with clients to solve engineering challenges, including occasional on-site travel of approximately 10%.
  • \\n

Qualifications
\\n
    \\n
  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering full-stack web applications into production.
  • \\n
  • Demonstrated experience using AI coding agents or assistants in day-to-day development, with the technical judgment to validate and harden their output.
  • \\n
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
  • \\n
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • \\n
  • Proficiency across modern web technologies, including frontend frameworks and backend languages such as React, Python, or TypeScript.
  • \\n
  • Experience with complementary technologies such as cloud platforms, CI/CD, Docker, Git, LLM/RAG systems, vector databases, event-driven architectures, or government technology environments.
  • \\n
