Description:
Job Title: Construction Engineer III

Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid)

Duration: 30 Months Project

Responsibilities:

Manage and support construction activities related to the development of multiple, simultaneous Wireless Network infrastructure / New Macro Cell Site Build projects.

Review, verify, provide corrections/feedback, and approve Project Close Out Packages, Construction Drawings, Tenant Ready Docs, etc.

Supporting the team in managing / driving financial matters related to the projects; spending; POs.

Daily activities include schedule and financial management as well as interfacing with vendors via calls and meetings.

Support other members of the team to help meet over all goals as need arises.

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):

List at least top 3 required skills (Quick-hit descriptions of functions expected of the worker, etc.) and years of experience or range for each outlined required skill.

BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics OR five or more years of work experience related to New Macro Cell Site Builds.

Excellent knowledge and strong background in the wireless telecom industry, preferably in relation to New Macro Cell Site Builds; tower and civil works construction; equipment deployment and installation; related industry standards and best practices.

Excellent verbal, written, analytical and communication skills.

Excellent team player.

Must be well organized and able to work under time pressure.

Ability to work independently with accuracy and very good attention to details.

Strong technical and project management knowledge with the ability to work closely within the team as well as other cross-functional teams.

Strong problem-solving skills, project planning and time management.

Knowledge and experience with the full suite of Google Workspace, including data analytical features such as PivotTable and VLOOKUP, as well as technical aptitude with computers to navigate tools.

DESIRED SKILLS:

List skills that are not required to perform the role, but would be helpful and in some cases could supersede a missing "must-have" skill.

Samsung RAN and Macro Cell Site equipment knowledge.

CIQ knowledge.

Demonstrated subject matter expertise in Wireless Telecom technologies.

Knowledge of RF, Transport and Wireless Construction.

Ability to manage changing priorities, competing priorities, and situations in which guidelines can change.

Knowledge of HUB, CRAN & DRAN architecture.

Engineering, Planning, and/or Operations knowledge of 5G Wireless Networks.

Power, Space and Cooling knowledge.
