Job Description: Senior Lead Software Engineer – Full Stack (React & Scala)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lead Software Engineer with expertise in React and Scala to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable web applications and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, drive architectural decisions, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate closely with product and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications using React and Scala.
• Define and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive technical excellence through code reviews, best practices, and engineering standards.
• Mentor and guide software engineers, fostering technical growth and team productivity.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and frontend components.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-based deployments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Strong experience with Scala and backend application development.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
• Proven experience leading technical projects and mentoring development teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and quality engineering practices.
• Experience in performance tuning and application monitoring.
