Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle ERP Data Expert / Senior Oracle ERP Data Architect with 15–20+ years of experience in Oracle ERP, enterprise data management, data architecture, and ERP data transformation.

The ideal candidate will serve as a data subject matter expert and strategic advisor, providing leadership across Oracle ERP data initiatives including data architecture, data migration, data conversion, data quality, governance, integration, and business process transformation.

This role requires someone who can work effectively with business stakeholders, IT leadership, functional teams, technical teams, and data/integration teams to define and implement scalable enterprise data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Oracle ERP Data Subject Matter Expert (SME) for enterprise data initiatives and transformation programs.
• Lead data strategy, architecture, modelling, migration, conversion, cleansing, and governance activities across Oracle ERP environments.
• Analyze complex ERP data structures and identify relationships, dependencies, gaps, redundancies, and data quality issues.
• Define and document source-to-target data mappings, transformation rules, data models, and conversion strategies.
• Lead Oracle ERP data migration and conversion activities, including data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and loading.
• Partner with Oracle ERP functional teams to understand business processes and translate requirements into effective data solutions.
• Develop and maintain enterprise data models, data dictionaries, data standards, and data governance frameworks.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance throughout ERP transformation initiatives.
• Work closely with integration teams on Oracle ERP interfaces, APIs, ETL processes, and downstream/upstream data flows.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, operational efficiency, reporting, and business intelligence capabilities.
• Support ERP implementations, upgrades, consolidations, acquisitions, and legacy-to-Oracle data transformation initiatives.
• Lead data profiling, assessment, cleansing, enrichment, and remediation activities.
• Establish data validation and reconciliation frameworks to ensure successful migration and implementation.
• Collaborate with technical architects, developers, DBAs, integration teams, and business stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations to leadership regarding ERP data architecture, governance, quality, and long-term data strategy.
• Create and maintain technical and functional documentation related to Oracle ERP data.
• Participate in client meetings and travel onsite when required.

Required Qualifications

• 15–20+ years of overall IT / ERP experience, with significant experience in enterprise data management.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle ERP / Oracle E-Business Suite and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
• Strong expertise in Oracle ERP data architecture, data models, data structures, and data relationships.
• Proven experience with Oracle ERP data migration, conversion, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data management and data governance principles.
• Experience developing source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, data dictionaries, and data models.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience working with ETL/data integration tools and technologies.
• Strong understanding of Oracle ERP modules and their underlying data, preferably across Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain, Projects, Order Management, and related modules.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to operate independently as a senior-level data SME/consultant.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud data architecture.
• Experience with Oracle ERP implementations, upgrades, acquisitions, or large-scale transformations.
• Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, ETL, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with data governance and data quality tools/frameworks.
• Experience with ERP modernization and legacy-system data transformation.
• Experience supporting M&A / business integration initiatives is a plus.
• Experience in real estate, financial services, or professional services environments is a plus.
• Oracle certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
