Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing engineering talent

• Establish performance expectations and support career development pathways
• Align teams with organizational vision and strategic goals
• Research, evaluate, and develop new product offerings
• Improve and optimize existing solutions
• Oversee product testing, validation, and documentation
• Provide technical guidance to customers and internal stakeholders
• Develop technical resources for sales, marketing, and training teams
• Deliver presentations to engineers, specifiers, and clients
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Lead commercial services strategy and long-term vision
• Drive revenue targets and departmental KPIs

Qualifications

• Licenses: Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) REQUIRED
• Education: Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience: 8+ years in geotechnical/structural engineering
• Expertise in soil mechanics, deep foundation design, and building construction
• Leadership experience managing technical teams and setting vision
• Proficiency in modeling software (AutoCAD, Inventor) and materials expertise (steel, concrete)
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to simplify complex concepts
• Willingness to travel occasionally across the U.S. and Canada
