Currently, we are hiring for the following position;
Job Title: Workday Project Support Coordinator
Location: Rhode Island
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Workday Project Support Coordinator to support a large-scale Workday implementation within a higher education institution. This role will play a critical part in ensuring smooth project execution by coordinating activities, maintaining documentation, and supporting cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day coordination support for the Workday implementation project (with a focus on Student, Finance, or HCM modules)
- Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timelines are met
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions
- Maintain project documentation including status reports, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and meeting minutes
- Act as a liaison between functional teams, technical teams, and external vendors
- Support testing cycles (SIT/UAT) by tracking defects, coordinating test schedules, and ensuring timely resolution
- Ensure adherence to project governance and higher education compliance standards
- Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience in project coordination or project support roles
- Familiarity with higher education processes (e.g., student lifecycle, financial aid, registrar functions) is a strong plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project)
- Strong coordination and follow-through
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Stakeholder management and communication
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
