StarsHR has the following virtual/remote contract role available with our client.

Software QA Tester, Integrations

Responsibilities:

Verifies that software and applications are coded according to

specifications by employing technical testing and code inspection

techniques conforming to industry best practices.

Creates and executes test cases with test data and documents

results for all testing phases (functional, integration, regression, and

system testing)

Records discrepancies between code and specifications via

detailed bug reports

Conducts test case reviews with Software Engineering teams

Works with Software Engineers, other QA Engineers, business

and infrastructure teams to ensure that quality principles are

understood and adhered to

Operates within the Quality Assurance procedures defined by

Management

Is an active participant in agile/SCRUM team project development

Conducts test case reviews with Software Engineering teams

Qualifications

• A minimum 3 to 4 years of software or systems testing experience in a commercial environment.
• Has prior project experience working with app integrations.
• Demonstrates a firm grasp of Software Development Lifecycle concepts
• Demonstrates effective problem solving skills
• A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related subject is highly desirable
• Previous experience in the Banking/Fintech industry strongly preferred

This is a long-term contract role which is virtual/remote. Attendance at occasional onsite meetings may be required. StarsHR can provide benefits while contracting through our firm.
