IT - Clemson University - Quality Assurance Analyst - Advanced
Introduction:
** THIS IS A QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTER POSITION, NOT A PROGRAMMER, BA, OR PROJECT MANAGER POSITION.**
This position is for a Quality Assurance Analyst - Advanced at Clemson University. The role involves providing Quality Assurance for MEDS, MMIS, MMRS, and RMMIS systems projects related to the Medicaid system in South Carolina. The ideal candidate should be highly productive, flexible, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This position requires the candidate to be engaged exclusively on Maxpath Technologies’ W2 payroll. Engagements via 1099 or third-party/sub-vendor or Corp-to-Corp arrangements are not accepted.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the project team to test coding changes
- Create test scenarios and execute tests
- Analyze test results and resolve discrepancies
- Support user acceptance testing with SCDHHS
- Provide expertise in business, process, and technical documentation
- Work with Clemson staff and contracted staff
SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
THIS PROJECT INCLUDES MAKING FEDERALLY AND STATE MANDATED CHANGES FOR THE MEDICAID SYSTEM OF SC. THIS POSITION WILL PERFORM QUALITY ASSURANCE(QA) AND BUSINESS INTERFACE TESTING(UA) REQUIREMENTS AS WELL AS SUPPORT USER ACCEPTANCE (UA) TESTING OF SOFTWARE CODING CHANGES TO MEDICAID SYSTEMS RELATED DATA. TESTING OF CHANGES WILL INCLUDE TESTING WITH THE USERS AND EXTERNAL HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS AND TRADING PARTNERS AS NEEDED. THIS PROJECT REQUIRES INTERFACING WITH OTHER AGENCIES AND OTHER INTERNAL SUB-SYSTEMS.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
WORK COLLABORATIVELY WITH PROJECT TEAM TO TEST CODING CHANGES. DUTIES INCLUDE CREATION OF TEST SCENARIOS, RUNNING OF TESTS, ANALYSIS OF TEST RESULTS, RESOLUTION OF DIFFERENCES IN ACTUAL AND EXPECTED TEST RESULTS AND WORKING WITH SCDHHS TO SUPPORT USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING. COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY IN BOTH WRITTEN AND SPOKEN COMMUNICATION. HELP WITH BUSINESS, PROCESS AND TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION AND PROVIDE SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTISE AS NEEDED. WORK COLLABORATIVELY WITH CLEMSON STAFF AND OTHER CONTRACTED STAFF.

- Candidate location: No SC residency required. Candidate must reside in lower 48 states (Continental US) and comfortable working EST time zone hours.
