Your curiosity drives you to expand your domain knowledge, and you are committed to continuous improvement-for yourself, your team, and the broader Synopsys community.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Leading the coordination and execution of all technical activities throughout the lifecycle of sales opportunities, including technical discovery, negotiation of success criteria, product presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations.
  • Engaging directly with customers to understand their product development requirements and addressing application-specific design and simulation needs using Synopsys/Ansys tools.
  • Developing and implementing differentiating simulation solutions, integrating Synopsys/Ansys platforms into customer workflows, and becoming a recognized expert in high frequency electromagnetics.
  • Collaborating with product development teams to translate customer feedback into new product features, participating in testing new releases, and establishing best practices for application engineering.
  • Supporting field and digital marketing efforts by creating promotional materials, delivering conference presentations, and contributing to event activities.
  • Leading professional service deliveries, conducting training classes, and ensuring customer productivity through ongoing methodology support and technical guidance.

The Impact You Will Have:
  • Empowering customers to optimize their product development processes and achieve superior performance metrics with advanced simulation solutions.
  • Driving adoption of Synopsys/Ansys software by demonstrating compelling value and technical advantages to customers and stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the evolution of Synopsys products by channeling real-world customer requirements into innovative features and capabilities.
  • Enhancing industry best practices and establishing Synopsys as a thought leader in high frequency electromagnetics and simulation technology.
  • Expanding the Synopsys business through technical sales support, professional services, and targeted marketing activities.
  • Building lasting relationships with customers and partners, fostering trust and collaboration that propel Synopsys' market leadership.

What You'll Need:
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or a related field (BS+5, MS+3, PhD+0 years of experience in engineering software environments).
  • Demonstrated experience with Ansys HFSS, STK, SIwave, Q3D Extractor, or other industry-standard simulation software (CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM).
  • Advanced knowledge of RF circuit packaging, PCB and connector design, and simulation methodologies.
  • Expertise in high frequency electromagnetics, microwave and antenna concepts, including S-parameters, wave propagation, antenna radiation patterns, scattering analysis, and component coupling/interference analysis.
  • Understanding of Electromagnetic Compatibility and Interference, and experience with multi-physics implications on electronic devices (thermal, stress, reliability).

Who You Are:
  • Logical problem-solver with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities; fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Professional and business-savvy, projecting a credible image in all interactions.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently across teams and organizations.
  • Adaptable and willing to travel domestically up to 25% as needed.

The Team You'll Be A Part Of:

You will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of application engineers, product specialists, and sales professionals dedicated to delivering end-to-end simulation solutions for high frequency electromagnetics. The team collaborates closely with product development, marketing, and customer support to ensure Synopsys/Ansys tools make a meaningful impact across industries. You'll be surrounded by passionate experts eager to share knowledge, innovate, and drive customer success.
