Job Title: Project Manager Tech IV - Scrum Master Location: REMOTE
Job Description: List of Tasks to be Performed:
As Scrum Master, will provide direction to the development and testing teams members, conduct Agile Ceremonies, oversee work and release management.
Responsible for managing the entire Scrum process and maintaining Scrum artifacts and Scrum Tool.
Takes projects from assignment to implementation.
Supports management team s efforts in change management.
Recommends and takes action to improve processes.
Knowledge with the Following Qualifications:
Motivated self-starter with excellent analytical, organization, and troubleshooting skills.
Deep knowledge of software development cycle and testing methodologies.
Utilization of DevOps and Agile methods to promote collaboration and flexibility in software testing and development.
Experience using Version One or other work management tools.
Strong understanding of the complete life cycle of a system (SDLC) application and operating systems.
Attention to Detail. Critical for identifying discrepancies in payroll calculations that could lead to financial penalties or legal issues
Problem-Solving. Ability to analyze issues and payroll anomalies, determine if a discrepancy is a system bug or input error, and work with developers to resolve them.
Strong Communication Skills. Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders, Solutions Architects, Product Owner, Managers and Developers.
Time Management. Manage testing schedules to meet deadlines and payroll cycles.
Successful candidates will ensure quality, timely completion of projects, meeting the specified expectations, reducing the risk or errors and customer satisfaction.
Working knowledge of one of more of the following qualifications:
DevSecOps
Agile Scrum
VersionOne or equivalent Agile project management software
Knowledge of and experience with SDLC practices
Payroll systems and processing
Mainframe knowledge a plus
Required Certifications, if any:
Scrum Master Certification required.
The Scrum Master will heavily use these skills: communication, leadership, organization, time management, project management, risk management, problem-solving, adaptability, and teamwork.
Additional Required Skills/Experience:
o A minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years relevant experience.
o A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required.
o Typically performs all functional duties independently.
o Note: Special credentials (licenses and/or certifications) may be required at the Task Order level on a case-specific basis."
Additional Provisions:
Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.
Once candidate s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.
If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.
Candidate must have lived in the US for the past 5 years.
Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative.
Agency will not be reimbursed for overtime charges without previous written authorization. Authorized overtime will be reimbursed at straight time.
The enforced dress code is business casual, i.e. collared shirt with slacks for men, no skirts above the knee for women. Place and Period of Performance
