Position: Mainframe Z/OS Systems Programmer
Location: Hybrid in Phoenix, AZ(Primary), Plano, TX, Charlotte, NC, Richmond, VA, Jacksonville, FL, Pennington, NJ, Chicago, IL (3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 12 months contract with possible extension

Job Requirement:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong experience with Job Control Language (JCL)
Deep knowledge of Mainframe Operating Systems (z/OS)
Proven experience in Mainframe Support and operations
Advanced expertise in Systems Programming on mainframe platforms
Experience with TSO/ISPF, dataset management, and system utilities
Familiarity with batch scheduling tools (e.g., CA-7, Control-M, or equivalent)
Experience with system performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting
Understanding of mainframe security frameworks (RACF, ACF2, Top Secret)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with subsystems such as CICS, DB2, or IMS
Knowledge of SMP/E and system software installation processes
Exposure to mainframe modernization initiatives and hybrid/cloud integration
Experience with automation, scripting, or DevOps practices in mainframe environments
Familiarity with Workload Manager (WLM) and capacity planning
