Business Systems Analyst - EDW

Job Summary We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst EDW to support enterprise data warehouse initiatives by enabling the business to leverage data as a strategic asset. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and Agile teams to gather requirements, define data solutions, and manage the product backlog. The position requires strong experience in data warehousing, SQL, and collaboration across cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Act as a liaison between stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams. Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements. Develop features and user stories within an Agile environment. Collaborate with stakeholders to define source-to-target data mappings. Facilitate backlog refinement sessions, including defining acceptance criteria and estimating effort. Work with product owners and subject matter experts to refine epics into actionable deliverables. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. Support Agile processes by coordinating with team members to resolve impediments. Ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions within the EDW environment. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in a relevant field. 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment. Strong SQL skills with at least 3 years of experience performing ad-hoc queries and data analysis. Experience working in Agile environments with backlog management and user story development. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in financial services or banking industry. Experience with Snowflake and AWS S3. Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin. Experience with enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards. Experience creating source-to-target data mappings. Experience leading or mentoring Business Systems Analysts on project teams. Education: Bachelors Degree
