Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery and drive continuous improvement across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile methodologies, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), and Scrum practices, with a proven ability to coach teams, remove impediments, and ensure successful delivery of business and technology initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
  • Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum best practices, and SAFe methodologies to improve team effectiveness and delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Development teams to ensure well-defined and prioritized backlogs.
  • Identify, track, and remove impediments that impact team productivity and sprint commitments.
  • Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and other SAFe ceremonies.
  • Monitor sprint progress using Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, cycle time, and team capacity.
  • Promote transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across Agile teams.
  • Support Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Product Management, and stakeholders in coordinating cross-team dependencies.
  • Ensure Agile governance, compliance, and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Foster collaboration and communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Drive risk identification, dependency management, and issue resolution throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Assist in Agile transformation initiatives and mentor teams transitioning from traditional project management methodologies.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile software development teams.
  • Strong experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean practices.
  • Hands-on experience working in a SAFe Agile environment.
  • Experience facilitating Program Increment (PI) Planning and other SAFe events.
  • Strong understanding of Agile metrics, estimation techniques, and sprint planning.
  • Experience managing cross-functional and distributed teams.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or VersionOne.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I/II, or equivalent).
  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) certification.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale Agile transformations.
