salary: $69.53 - 75.00 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm



responsibilities:

• Outline and implement Application or Web product upgrades.
• Contribute to the analysis of business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile development practices.
• Lead high-level technical concepts that span technology and business domains.
• Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design, and test solutions.
• Generate documentation, operational policies, procedures, and playbook documentation.
• Utilize monitoring tools, such as Grafana, for business application and operations teams.
• Contribute to the testing of business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements.
• Direct the daily Risk and Control flow of Compliance, with a focus on policies and procedures.
• Lead the provisioning of builds, configurations, and preparation of runtime infrastructure for middleware products.
• Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, ensuring teams meet security, reliability, monitoring, and support standards through adherence to policies, procedures, and work standards.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
• Lead teams during enterprise incidents, focusing on Application and Web stability through an On-Call rotation.

qualifications:

10+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.

6+ years of hands-on, at-scale experience in Middleware Administration (Tomcat, Apache, Websphere, Weblogic, JBoss, Liberty, IIS) including build, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, deploys, configuration, patching, and compliance activities.

6+ years of experience in Middleware Production Support on Linux and Windows platforms.

Experience with SSL certificate management.

Experience utilizing Ansible jobs.

Experience utilizing observability products like Grafana and Splunk.

Experience in writing Shell / Python scripts.

Strong team or technical leadership experience.

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization, including leadership.
