Summary

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will lead maintenance operations at the Oakdale, California manufacturing plant. You will oversee maintenance for production lines, equipment, and facilities while scheduling labor to meet production demands. You will drive safety, uptime, reliability, and cost performance through strong preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Lead maintenance activities for production lines, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance labor to support production requirements.
  • Own preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including oil analysis, vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and equipment monitoring.
  • Monitor downtime and equipment performance trends and prioritize corrective actions.
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching, and development for maintenance employees.
  • Enforce plant safety programs and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with United States Department of Agriculture officials.
  • Manage maintenance labor, overtime, parts purchasing, and departmental expenses.
  • Support capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a technical discipline preferred.
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.
  • Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and electrical and electronic principles.
  • Computer proficiency required; computer?aided design experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

When visiting these sites, the physical requirements below may apply: You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination. You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

This role is onsite at our manufacturing site in Oakdale, CA.

Compensation

Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee?s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees? equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
