The Opportunity:

That's why we need you, an experienced network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network the intelligence community needs.

As a network engineer on our team, you'll use your experience in virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Proxmox, Cisco, and other s, to build cutting-edge solutions to support worldwide high-priority missions enabling the nation's defense and resp ond ing to evolving adversaries. You'll innovate, prototype, deploy, and maintain enterprise-wide virtualized infrastructure, troubleshoot complex network and user issues, analyze current work infrastructure, and increase the security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems.

You'll apply your expertise in virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Proxmox, or similar , to help build and maintain a worldwide network. Your roles and responsibilities will include both the front and backend of the network infrastructure, and you'll be supporting users that are executing some of the most high-priority missions that the US intelligence community has to offer.

Your knowledge of virtualization and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure ( VDI ) will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in virtualization and VDI networking, you'll serve as a t rus ted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curio sit y and knowledge of industry standards, you'll make an impact on national security missions.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with virtualization technology, such as VMware, Proxmox, Cisco, or a virtualization platform
• Experience with v Center , ESXi, Horizon, Citrix, or platforms on a distributed network to enable VDI communications
• Experience translating customer requirements into a deployed virtualized environment
• Experience supporting a distributed multi- sit e networking environment
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with enterprise storage technology, including Network Attached Storage ( NAS ) via Network File System ( NFS )
• Experience using VMware PowerCLI using Micro sof t PowerShell
• Experience with VDI
• Experience with Windows administration
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

Clearance :

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
