Interview Process:

Initial screening with Agnii Ghosh and Steve Hardy (VP – Strategic Operations) - 30mins
Teams video technical discussion with Sr. Architect Daniel - 30mins
Final F2F meeting with Director

Feedback from Danie :

Interviewed Kedar; overall, I was not fully impressed with the fit for this role.
His experience at Google appears to be primarily software-focused, with limited exposure to embedded or system-level work.
Android experience seems minimal, mostly limited to low-level hardware interaction rather than OS-level development.
Has some hardware experience (primarily at Ford), but it appears fairly basic/rudimentary.
Majority of his work is centered around low-level driver development, especially involving USB and similar protocols.
Experience with Wi-Fi and LTE seems limited to USB driver integration, rather than broader wireless system implementation.
Overall, I did not observe the depth of technical expertise expected at a senior level.
Career progression to senior level appears more tenure-driven than skill-driven.

Expectation for the role:

Looking for a candidate with strong senior-level capabilities from the outset
Android experience - OS-level development.
Deeper experience in hardware design, RTOS, and end-to-end system architecture.
Ability to contribute beyond driver-level support, with a more holistic system perspective
