Cloud Software Engineer JAVA, Google Cloud Platform

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Software Engineer with strong Java and Google Cloud Platform expertise to support enterprise-scale cloud application development and connected platform initiatives. This is a 100% remote opportunity focused on building scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-native solutions within a collaborative Agile engineering environment.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java Spring Boot, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), CI/CD automation, modern deployment strategies, and enterprise application architecture. Experience working within large-scale cloud ecosystems and strong collaboration skills are critical for success in this role.

Candidates should have experience with SQL and NoSQL databases including MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, along with strong exposure to Agile development methodologies, pair programming, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices.

In this position, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable cloud-based software solutions while collaborating closely with architects, product teams, and engineering stakeholders.
