Financial Planning and Analysis Consultant

About the role:

• We are seeking a Solution Designer with strong experience in Finance systems, specifically within FP&A or Workforce Planning domains, to join our team.
• This role plays a critical part across the full project lifecycle, partnering with business stakeholders, digital teams, and end users to build experiences that are intuitive, scalable, and aligned to evolving business needs.
• The ideal candidate is curious, detailoriented, creative, and driven by a desire to deeply understand user needs and bring compelling solutions to life. They will balance the ability to simplify complex finance processes with the discipline required to deliver consistently accurate, highquality requirements and functional solutions.

Responsibility:

EndtoEnd Project Lifecycle Support

• Lead and facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business partners and subjectmatter experts.
• Translate business needs into clear, detailed functional user stories, process flows, and mockups.
• Facilitate middevelopment demos, providing continual feedback and validating solution alignment.
• Create UAT testing scripts, coordinate tester activities, and guide teams through UAT cycles.
• Support deployment, including enduser enablement, training, and postgolive hypercare.
• Assist with enhancements, defect triage, and functional improvements throughout maintenance cycles.

Requirements & Functional Design

• Develop comprehensive requirements documentation, including functional and process specifications.
• Translate complex finance processes into simplified, actionable system behaviors and workflows.
• Incorporate compliance requirements, detailed accounting rules, calculations, and system interactions.

User & Customer Experience

• Humanize the customer experience while enabling future scalability and operational efficiency.
• Build, maintain, and iterate personas and usage scenarios to guide solution design.
• Drive usability, clarity, and consistency across product experiences.
• Gather and analyze user feedback to continuously improve product functionality and user experience.

Testing, Deployment & Quality Assurance

• Participate actively in planning and execution of UAT, ensuring solutions deliver expected business value.
• Partner with technical teams to validate solution quality and ensure alignment to original requirements.
• Perform functional QA, identify issues early, and support smooth, timely releases.

Business Alignment & Governance

• Ensure ongoing alignment with business goals, compliance needs, and finance operational requirements.
• Bring clarity to complex business challenges, consistently simplifying where possible.
• Communicate requirements effectively to reduce rework, improve collaboration, and accelerate delivery.

Skills:

Finance & Systems Expertise

• 9+ Years Experience and deep understanding of Finance, including FP&A, Workforce Planning, or related financial processes.
• Experience working with enterprise finance systems and navigating complex system interactions.
• Strong understanding of technical opportunities, system constraints, and crossfunctional dependencies.

Functional & Technical Skills

• Proven ability to write highquality user stories for complex, crossfunctional systems.
• Skilled in creating process flows, lowfidelity and/or midfidelity mockups, and requirements documentation.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of breaking down ambiguous or complex problems into structured solutions.

Communication & Collaboration

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and technical writing capabilities.
• Demonstrated success in conveying requirements to digital and technical teams with minimal iterations.
• Ability to thoughtfully guide crossfunctional teams and influence decisions through clarity and insight.
