We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives. The Solution Architect operates primarily at the tactical and project level while ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and contributing to the evolution of architectural standards, governance practices, and technology roadmaps.
This role requires close collaboration with Enterprise Architects, project teams, business stakeholders, and Architecture Review Boards to deliver solutions that support organizational growth, operational excellence, and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Delivery
Design robust, scalable, secure, and maintainable technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles and organizational priorities.
Collaborate with project teams to evaluate business requirements, project scope, and define functional and non-functional requirements.
Lead solution architecture activities across multiple technology domains, including applications, data, infrastructure, cloud, integration, and security.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the organization''s technology landscape, business processes, and strategic goals.
Evaluate, recommend, and select technology solutions that balance functionality, cost, risk, and long-term sustainability.
Create architecture blueprints, solution designs, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with Enterprise Architects to ensure solution designs align with target-state architecture and strategic technology roadmaps.
Present and defend architectural recommendations before Architecture Review Boards and governance committees.
Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams, driving alignment through influence, negotiation, and consensus-building.
Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, project managers, development teams, and IT stakeholders.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Governance & Standards
Contribute to the development and enhancement of architecture standards, design patterns, reference architectures, and technology guardrails.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Support architecture governance processes, including design reviews, risk assessments, and solution approvals.
Maintain architecture documentation, solution repositories, system diagrams, and as-built designs.
Promote consistency, standardization, and architectural excellence across projects and initiatives.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Research emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and modernization.
Advocate for solutions that improve simplicity, reusability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Support continuous improvement of architecture frameworks, methodologies, tools, and governance processes.
Identify and address technical debt through modernization initiatives and architectural improvements.
Drive adoption of cloud-native, automation, security, and performance optimization best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in IT, with significant experience in Solution Architecture, Systems Architecture, or Enterprise Application Design.
Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions across multiple technology domains, including:

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to evaluate technical and business trade-offs.

Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and build consensus across business and technology teams.
Experience working with Architecture Review Boards, governance committees, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
Experience creating architecture diagrams and visual models using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of architecture governance, standards development, and compliance requirements.
