Role Overview:
Program Manager specializing in IT Infrastructure and Warehouse Automation. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between physical logistics and digital infrastructure, specifically focusing on the deployment and management of Knapp automation systems. The successful candidate will drive large-scale efficiency gains, similar to our recent automation milestones that achieved >90% time reductions in operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Program Oversight (PjM): Lead end-to-end deployment of warehouse automation projects, ensuring alignment with global infrastructure standards and timelines.
- Knapp System Integration: Act as the primary technical subject matter expert for Knapp automation, overseeing the installation, calibration, and optimization of automated storage and retrieval systems.
- Infrastructure Management: Coordinate the hardware, networking, and server requirements necessary to support high-scale automated warehouse environments.
- Process Optimization: Implement systematic evaluations similar to our ISO-aligned assessment frameworks to identify and close operational gaps.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with external vendors (like Knapp) and internal teams (Supply Chain, Engineering, and Risk Management) to ensure seamless project delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Automation Expertise: Proven experience with Knapp Warehouse Automation technology is mandatory.
- Program Management: Minimum of 5 8 years in PjM roles, specifically within large-scale industrial or supply chain environments.
- Technical Infrastructure: Strong background in IT infrastructure, including networking, hardware deployment, and system architecture for automated facilities.
- Analytical Rigor: Ability to use data-driven insights to reduce manual effort and eliminate errors, aiming for high-fidelity outcomes like our 95% auditor match standards.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to transform manual, slow-moving processes into high-scale automated workflows.
