As a Project Engineer in the Construction industry, you will be a vital part of our team, working on a variety of projects in the general contracting, commercial ground-up, healthcare, life sciences, educational, civic, and biotechnology sectors. Your role will be crucial in all stages of a project, from the initial bid to the close-out. You will be responsible for assisting in estimating, preparing proposals, issuing subcontracts, and managing project documents.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers on all aspects of a project, from bid through project close-out.
• Assist in bidding out projects to subcontractors, estimating for self-performed work, and preparing proposals.
• Assist project manager with prime contract and issuing subcontracts.
• Manage submittals, change orders, RFI's, project documents, project meetings, invoicing owner, reviewing and approving subcontractor invoices and overall project processes.
• Act as a liaison between the office and field.
• Participate in trade shows and industry organizations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years' experience as a project engineer.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Project.
• Good understanding of all trades, including MEP.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Client-centered approach with a focus on customer development and satisfaction.
• Possess a "do whatever it takes" attitude.
• Creative thinker who is willing to think outside the box to achieve client goals.
• Autonomous individual who enjoys working with a team.
• Self-starter with excellent time management skills, fully able to set own schedule.
