Job Title: Senior / Lead Network Engineer
Location: 1055 Monterey Street, San Luis Obispo, CA - 93408 (Hybrid)
Duration: Fulltime
Note: Hybrid (4 days onsite) M-F 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (PST) (or) 4days /10hrs Schedule and 5th day can take Off.

Summary:
Senior Network Engineer classification is not a part of the Network Engineer career series but is the advanced working and technical lead level network engineer. Incumbents work under general direction and regularly provide technical direction to several network administrators; architects complex, multiple-platform local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs); defines network strategy development and deployment options; researches, analyzes, identifies and defines technology trends/products/concepts; outlines and defines required process changes due to changing requirements and technology; mentors other network engineers; and does other related work as required.
Important Skills:
This is a Lead role & needs experience with solid routing/switching, firewall, solving wireless problems
Networking - Cisco, Wireless - HPE, Firewalls - Checkpoint, Palo Alto
Tier 3 Networking experience supporting complex enterprise environments
Ability to work effectively with a diverse, multidisciplinary team and demonstrate strong interpersonal awareness
Routing and Switching expertise
Firewalling (Palo Alto or Check Point preferred) with strong understanding of policies, segmentation, and traffic flow
Strong foundation in traditional network engineering with the ability to perform deep technical dives
Interest in advanced engineering, architecture, and long-term infrastructure evolution
Forward thinking mindset regarding: Automation, AI in networking and What does the client s infrastructure look like in the next 5 years mindset.
