Summary

Role: Lead Java Engineer

Location: ( 4 days onsite per week for either locations M-Th in-office; WFH Friday) either location San Jose, CA or San Francisco, CA

Duration: 6-12 Months contract+ Long term

Top Requirements:

Integrated Cassandra for data storage (must-have skill).
Heavy use of API development and microservices (must have experience building from scratch).
Java 17 at least 3 years of hands-on experience required.
Hands-on experience with Apache Solr.
Strong background in Supply Chain Order Management domain.

Tech Stack & Must-Haves

Must-Haves: Java 17, Cassandra, Microservices, API Development and Kafka.
Hands-on experience with Apache Solr.
Strong background in Supply Chain Order Management domain.
20% hands on coding, 80% architecture discussion, Code reviews, lead responsibilities.

Top Requirements (Must Haves)

10+ years of hands-on expertise to architect, design, and lead development of scalable enterprise applications in modern Java technologies, distributed systems, Springboot, Microservices
3 years of experience with Java 17
5+ yeas of hands-on with Cassandra
Proficient in Kafka
Extensive experience implementing Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, and various Microservice Patterns
Experience with Oracle or MySQL
Experience with CI (Continuous Integration) methodologies and Tools
Hands-on experience with monitoring/metric tools (NewRelic, AppD, ELK, Grafana, Splunk or similar tools
Unit testing with Junit and Mockito
Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to translate business requirements and opportunities into clear, precise and easy-to-read technical and functional specifications
