Role: SLM Senior Architect (Application Architect)

Location: Anywhere in US with 25% Travel Flexibility

Responsibilities:

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Assigns project tasks, including installing and configuring PTC software, customization, GUI development, testing, debugging, and deployment support to project team members.
• Provides input into the future software functionality, implementation methodology, and customization standards
• Reviews teamwork work products to ensure that they are accurate, consistent and meet clients'' requirements.
• Knowledge of authoring of documents using Arbortext Editor, illustration capabilities using Creo Illustrator/ISODraw, etc.
• Familiar with Content structuring, Use of DITA and other document standards, stylesheet configurations, etc.
• Concepts of eBOM to sBOM transformation, maintenance of Document Structures, etc. in SP&I (Service Parts & Information).
• Translation Mgmt. Design & related process.
• Creation of Publishing Package, use of APE (Arbortext Publishing Engine) to publish content package, to Delivery Portal (In case of PTC, it will be ACD – Arborthext Content Delivery), Configuration of Publishing engine (configuration of worker & publishing rules).
• Familiar with Capabilities of the Delivery Portal (ACD)
• Familiar with data migration – for example, conversion of data from legacy to Arbortext ( for example, from FrameMaker/PDF/Word, etc. to new DITA compliant Arbortext format)
• Understand database administration, database design
• Knowledge of quality processes and their implementation.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Good knowledge of PTC Product suites
• Strong debugging skills & Strong communication skills.

Must Have Skills

• Strong SLM Domain experience is must.
• 9+ years’ experience in PTC SLM, SPI, ACD Implementation Projects.
• Strong SLM Implementation Knowledge and good understanding of Data Model (at least 3-5 years of SLM, SPI, ACD Customization experience).
• Experience with APE (Arbortext Publishing Engine).
• Knowledge of S1000D a plus.
• SLM Solution Designing & Configuration experience is must.
• Familiar with data migration & Have SLM Integration Experience.

Education Qualification:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Sales Management, or an

equivalent combination of education and experience.
